Title: Did It Again...
Post by: NDTerminator on August 20, 2007, 12:18:00 PM
Since last year I've been having an utter ball trying different bows, limbs, and arrows.  Have formed some solid opinions as to what I like and what works best for me along the way.

One thing I learned is I really like Chek-Mate bows, particularly the Hunter II.  Have had a thing for Zebrawood ever since I received my Hunter 56 Zebra/Walnut as well.

Darned if I didn't do it again.  Saw on Height Archery's website that Ron has a 60" LH Chek-Mate Hunter II 53#@28", Zebrawood/Bubinga, with Elm limbs in stock.

Should say "had" as I ordered it up a couple hours ago.

Pictures to follow...

I seem to recall you had some injury that was going to "end" your traditional career. If so, glad to hear you've recovered. If not, glad to hear you're getting a new stick. I have a 60" Falcon, 51#@26", and I also am really liking the Chek-Mate. Looking forward to seeing the photos!

Amazing what two months of physical therapy and cortisone will do!  :bigsmyl:

Love my ChekMates.  I had a Hunter 1 paid for and in the mail when I "accidently" won a Deluxe Falcon when I bumped the bid on that auction site a measley $5.  Oops....won it.  Turns out the Falcon is one of my favorites...next to my TD longbow I just finished.

And I had sold another ChekMate and bought these.  Life is good!

Saw this morning that my bow is no longer on the "in stock" list on the website, which means Ron is his usual efficient self and it's on the way...

I also have an H1 and a Hunter 56.  That H1 of your's is beautiful, SOS...
