What's the best glue to use for fletching over a Onestringer wrap? I have some super glue already at home that I'm tempted to use but was curious if there was something else that might give me a better bond.
I use Loctite gel control super glue and have never had an issue with feathers coming loose.
I use the fletch-tite platinum and have had great results.
If you haven't looked at fletch tape its quick and easy , I love it. Drew
Get the Bohning tape. Works great with a dab of fletch tite platinum on each end of the feather
I have used Fletch-tite Platinum and fletch tape. They both worked fine. Onestringer's wraps give you a nice smooth surface to glue to.
X2 Tape all the way! and a dab of fletch tite platinum on the ends.
One stringers site has info they actually recommend super glues over fletchtite
I used gorilla glue super glue gel with great results
x3 on the tape
fletch-tite platinum here
The tape is great! Use it all the time. Drop of fletch tight platinum on end end.
Goat Tuff Glue
I've used goat tuff and steelforce glue. They both work great.
over wraps, is tape and NPV glue. What kind of jig ?
bitz right helical jig
Fletch tape.
Fletch-Tite Platinum works great for me over wraps.

Don't use Duco,I know from experience that it will not work. Superglue works best for me.

Same here.
I would have to agree on the tape. I've been using it for several years now and have never had one come off. Only glue I use, is a little dab of fletch tite on each end of my fletch.

Super glue on all wraps. Tried tape twice and its not for me.
I've used Cavalier FastSet Gel and it works fine. Most of the time I use Fletch Tite Platinum. Never had a feather come off a wrapped arrow.
Fletch-tite Platinum with Onestringers wrap. I have been using them since he has beeen selling them. A friend used the tape and left his arrows in his truck. From the heat his feathers were coming off. Not with the Fletch-tite Platinum.

Lots of folks like tape and I have used BUT the feathers will role over to the side if they are in the hot sun long. I went back to glue and besides if Platinum glue is good for the ends of the feather it should be good for the rest of it. IMHO
Superglue is all I use on wraps. Gorilla Glue Impact Tough formula (blue cap), Loc-tite brand, Pine Ridge Instant Archery glue, Goat-Tuff, all are superglues and have worked great for me. I do use Platinum on the ends of the feathers because its thicker.
As far as tape goes, never used it, heard and read too many unhappy stories about its failures. Superglue has never let me down not even one time in probably 10 dozen arrows the last 3 years.
I agree wholeheartedly with Craig's comment above.
There really is more than one way to skin a cat, isn't there.

Superglue can glue your helmet to the ceiling. It can glue your feathers to a shaft also.
Once I realized goat tuff was CA glue, I went to using the gorilla glue (blue cap) as well. Its also pretty cheap and they sell it at walmart (very cheap). I think i've been in love with cyanoacrylate since my R/C modeling days when I used ZAP CA glue which is specially formulated for balsa wood.
