I lost my hunting knife last year somehow, so I asked my cousin to make me a new knife. I told him that I just wanted something plane Jane that way i wouldn't be worried about harming it I guess you would say, so this is what he came up with. Damascus blade and camel bone Handel and the turquoise in the handle is real, now I'm gonna have art Vincent make me a canoe carry sheath for it and ill be set!

Does a cousin like yours make knives for non cousins?

Ain't nothin plain Jane about that knife! Mighty fine looking blade you got!!
My cousin is buddies with a knife maker in the ozarks and he teaches him how to make knives and my cousin does some laser etching on a few of them in trade. Don't want to break any rules but the guys name is Steve Nolte, this knife isn't anything compared to some of his.
Boy,you lose that one your gonna be commiting harikari.Nice Knife!
Great looking knife, nice damascus.
Great looking knife...!
That is a beautiful knife, very special one to hang on to. He has learned well from the man in the Ozarks
Wonder what he would have made if you told him you wanted something nice. Nothing plain about it.
That's a beauty Juan
That is a really nice knife! Hope you keep and use it for a long, long time. Your cousin does nice work in his own right.
A knife to be proud of. Art Vincent is a good choice to build a nice sheath at a fair price. Be sure to send Art the knife for a perfect fit.
Thanks for sharing.
Could your cousin adopt me?
I'll be mad if you lose this on. I have never purchased a really nice expensive knife cuz I know I will lose it. That knife is very classy..
That's one sharp knife!
Wow! One of the last things I need is another knife but that one inspires one to take a flying leap....off the wagon!
I checked out his website. That "Evans Mine".... I can't even afford to ask.
If that is his plain design, please put up some pics of his fancy stuff! That's a very attractive knife. Does it have blood stains yet?
No blood stains yet, but I'm itching to use it
Very nice!
Dude, I would like to be your cousin. That is sweet!!!!!!!!
Beautiful craftsmenship, I'd be a-scared to take it out of the house. I'd probably make a display case for it and then head to my local outfitter for a knive I wouldn't care about so much. This guy does some very nice work.
