What dye will give the brightest chartreuse color on a real turkey feather? Anyone have any pics they can post of feathers dyed this color? I have tried the RIT dye and it came out dull. I love the durability of real feathers but I can't see em' after I let em' go so thought I'd try to dye some more and see what happens.
Thanks,
Rob
Hey Rob,
I have been told that Neon food coloring works, but have not tried it yet.
I also found a product called Veniard's dye. It is marketed to flyfishermen. I have not tried, but I am going to. See the attached link. If you do try please post your results.

Three Rivers has chartreuse dye for sale. I've used it and it works very well. I don't know how to post pictures. JIM
There is also another catalog you can get called"Darma".com.I make my own tye dye camo, and a profesional turned me on to this dye supplier. They have way more sofisticated dyes.Lots.I made some pretty cool lime green ones, but not really chartruse.Good Luck.
Where do you find chartruse dye from 3Rivers. could not find it on there website?? Also, does Great Northern still make there dye?
