Hey Gang,
The new Stalker Stickbows website is up! South still needs to add a few more things, but check it out and let us know what you think.
http://www.stalkerstickbows.com/
He added a few new features like a blog, a video resource and a "select veneers" page where you can select the actual veneers for your custom bow.
Because of the increasing bow line up, South also had to revamp the names of the bow models. I have the new names accompanied with pictures below.
Thanks Gang!
Ryan

Thanks for the updates!
Just ordered a Coyote last week ! :bigsmyl:
Fine bows. Fine Bowyer. WE both have things in common. This year we killed deer with our TRUCK!!!!lol.RC
I want a coyote SL with static tip limbs!! Maybe he will have one at Kazoo in my weight range!!!
I'm right there with you Logan!
Thanks for the kind words GANG!
LOL!!! RC!!! I told South that he needed a custom "Stalker Push Bar" for his van!
Thanks for checking it out ED!
Logan, get in touch with South before he leaves, if he has something close to what you're looking for, I'm sure he'll pack it with him.
Sweet Nathan! You've got more Stalkers than me!!! :D
I'll keep everyone posted on the website. Should be any day now.
Thank you!
Ryan
Can any of the Wolverine models get static limbs??
Burnsie,
Yes, I'd even recommend getting the static limbs.
Here are a couple links about the Wolverine with the static limbs.

Mine got shipped Friday. Awwwwww yeah!
Hey Ryan what are the woods in the second link,Very nice, Burt
Burt,
Second link, top pic of pg 1? The picture of that riser is bubinga and verawood.
Ryan
Thanks Ryan, never heard of verawood, sure is nice.Burt
"Grow with you bow"...explain?
Let me guess...as we age and out gut "grows", there are shorter limbs to allow for the string angle to clear the gut? JJ
Honestly though...with 3 kids under 7 you've peaked my interest?

That's something we may need to talk about bud!
Ryan here is an except about the bow. The only thing, is that this bow will only be built in a 58" model, which may be too long for the "little" ones. South had to choose one length because of the numerous amount of limbs that need to be built for all the varying draw weights. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
"The "Grow with your bow" program.
Recruiting youth and women into the sport of archery is going to be the key to growing our sport and helping to protect the future not only of archery, but hunting as well. I feel that we all need to do our part to encourage our wives and children to get involved. I recognize that getting into archery can be an expensive endeavor, especially as the new shooter builds their strength and outgrows their new bow. To combat this problem, I came up with a program to benefit women and young aspiring archers. With the purchase of a Bobcat, the shooter will be able to swap out the limbs on their bow at no charge for heavier limbs as they outgrow their setup. Simply contact me with the desired weight and I trade them out with a stock set at the closest weight I have. If you need me to build a set to a specific draw weight, I'll do that for a $50 fee. Colors for replacement limbs will be limited to what I have built on hand, unless you choose to have a set custom built for the $50 fee. The Bobcat has an actionwood handle and limbs. It is available in brown, green, grey, charcoal and camo actionwood. The handle can be made in all action wood or for a $10 upcharge, split with solid hardwood."
Curt,
Just let me know! ;)
Great idea...thanks for the explanation!
Anytime Ryan!
This program is working out well for my wife. She is currently shooting 36lbs at her draw and in few months will be ready for 40lb limbs.
Aloha!
Ryan
I like the new website. Check it out if you have not already.
Ryan,is there stock bows at this time I cann't get it to open,Thanks Burt
Great website and bows!
Bisch
That's a great idea! I'm going to check those out for my kids and wife.
Burt,
We're working on that right now. South just finished taking the pictures of those bows.
You can also give him a buzz to see if he has anything close to what you're looking for.
Thank you and let me know if you have any other questions.
Ryan
Thanks Bisch!
BDann,
Let me know if you have further questions about the program.
Ryan
Is the bobcat a recurve or longbow?
The Bobcat is only available in the 58" static recurve model.
Great job on the website

Yeah man, it looks great!
that is a kicka$$ website. It looks amazing!
I just checked out the website. Looks good! I'm personally waiting on seeing the available woods page update so that I can actually see some samples of them.
Right now, I'm slowly putting away a bit of money each month...in a year or two, I'll have enough for a new Stalker. Just can't decide between the coyote or the wolverine!
Jake,
Did you see the page with the select veneers? If not here's the link. It may give you an idea for limbs.
http://www.stalkerstickbows.com/veneers/
Oh, and now that you guys have the new site up and running, are you going to set the old stalker recurves site to redirect to the new one? I know that the last ad I saw in TBM still had the old website on it.

Thanks for the heads up, Ryan. I was just looking at that page. Some of the text seems to run off the pictures when you scroll over them...could be my browser. I am using firefox.
Jake,
Yeah once the new site is fully operational, then we'll have the old site redirected to the new one. Thank you for your great insight.
Jake have you tried clicking on the picture?
Ryan
Yeah, I just did. It only runs off the picture when you hover the mouse over it.
Also, when you click on specific models of the bows - for example, Coyote SL - it goes to a page that says No Posts Found. I assume that since you've renamed the bows and added their profiles, you've yet to put up the new pages.
Please don't take all this as criticism. I really like the new design. I just know what it's like trying to get a website to work for everyone and look good, so I'm just rooting out bugs.
Good call! Don't know what happened. It was working last night????
Thank you and I appreciate your input!!!
Ryan
The new site looks really good! I'm really hoping to be able to have South build either a Wolverine FXT or a Coyote FXT (static limbs) for me real soon! I test drived a Surge for awhile this season and almost cried when it was time to send it back! LOL.
Jake, I think we figured it out! Check it out. Thanks again for your help!
Thanks Luke! I love my Wolverine FXT with Static Limbs!!!
Ryan
Great job on the site! The bow pics and descriptions are really good. Congrats to South and all the guys working on the project :campfire:
I have some hunts planned with my own Stalker. I wanna make the poster again ;)
Looks Good South!
One of the best sites I saw. Good info and pro pictures. Videos is a nice idea also. Please skip that veneer page! :help:
The only con is that the site loads very slow on my PC.
Flying Dutchman,
Thanks for the great comments.
Is the entire site slow on your PC or just the video page?
Thank you!
Ryan
Let me see and check this out... maybe it was just yesterday...
Nice, I really like the veneer selection page. Huge benefit for us that want to see the woods that are going into our lifetime hunting partners.
Ok, it still loads slowly, now matter what I click. I chrono-ed it: it is between the 15 and 30 seconds for each new page. No difference with the video page.
But your site is just perfect. An example for all who sell archery stuff! Now a little bit more speed...
And I was joking about the veneer page, but I thought that was obvious...
The links on the Schleyer and Bart tribute page were slow for me as well. Mike
I think more people should post their experiences about slow or not...
Thanks for the feedback Gang. Yeah South has some great ideas!
Flying Dutchman,
Chrono'd it huh. thanks again for checking. I really appreciate it. Totally got the joke about the veneer page. Love the humor!!!
Thanks,
Ryan
Looks great guys Thnaks Shane
Speed is not bad on my connection. Not the best, but then the site is not built for speed. A lot of the pictures are obviously quality and high resolution - on a slower connection that might be sucking a lot of bandwidth. I don't think it's a concern.
PS page load times for me are about 3-5 seconds.
I never had any issues with the speed. It's got a few flash-type things that would probably cause issues with an older computer. Can't imagine it would be that bad of a connection in the Netherlands.
Thanks for the comments Gang! Still working out the "bugs" and updating the site.
Ryan
Ry, Speed on the video's is just fine here...good stuff!!
Site works fine on my PC, and mine is an older model. Now I just need to go empty my drool bucket and start saving my $$$.
Thanks for the info Bro!
LOL Burnsie!!!
