Title: My newest Acadian Woods Tree Stick Taking Shape
Post by: StickSlinger74 on January 09, 2013, 05:56:00 PM
Finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!!  Wait has been worth it and it's almost done!  Still a few things plus the artistic inlays to do but here are a few pictures of what it looks like today.  Mr. Tim is truly an artist!!  Will be 58" AMO and 50@28.

I have thought for some time now that Acadian Woods bows are the most intricately beautiful bows on the market.  Great shooters, too!

I have to say, acadian woods are probably the most aesthetically beautiful bows being made. There is something almost mystical about them.

Thanks for all the comments!  Getting closer.  She received the artistic inlays today and should be sprayed tomorrow!  After that the grip will be stippled and resprayed!  Limbs finished out at 48@28 which is perfect as I draw almost 29".  Can't wait!  Like a kid at Christmas!!
