Which one and why? Thanks. Bill
I prefer 2 of them The Original interceptor and the Treeshark. The original interceptor is easy to sharpen and I really like shooting it 4 bladed. They are also nonvented to help with noise the quietest simmons model I have shot. I shoot it with a 50gr insert to get 250 up front. It is also one of the best shooting heads however being barbed it is not legal in all states. The Treeshark is a devestating head flys great I prefer the screw in I have bent the tips on some of the glue ons. I shoot them with either a 50 or a 100 gr insert for 250-300 up front. Any model of the simmons will get the job done just really depends on the weight up front you are trying to obtain.
I like the tree sharks because they are way quieter than the others that I've tried.
I need 175 gr. so I shoot Tigers.
the tiger shark screw on
part# sb-60
look awesome and do a lot of damage.
Bought a new Black Widow. (very fast)
They don't plane & fly very straight.
Ditto for tiger sharks and what Tyler said.
I like the non vented interceptors, I killed 2 deer with them this year and the bloodtrails and the entry-exit holes were great! I had the glue on interceptors that I mounted on a aluminum adaptor which gave me a 200gr head plus I had 50gr weights on the back of the inserets. I had a steep shot on a doe this year, broke 2 ribs up by the spine going in broke a rib going out and still had enough to give me a exit hole. The hole was only big enough to fit 1 finger in because only the tip of the broadhead poked through but the lungs were mush inside and the bloodtrail was awesome for such a small exit hole. These heads were by far the sharpest I've hunted with after using a jewl stik on them! Here's the buck I shot this year with a Interceptor, he only made it 30 yards from the tree!

Nice buck longbowlogan!
I've been shooting Treesharks for about 2 years and once we decided to carry the Simmons I added some Tigersharks to my arsenal. I'm still amazed at how well such a large 2 blade can fly.
I use the 205 grain Interceptor myself, great head !
Love the interceptor. Best broadhead I have ever shot in my life. Awesome flight, blood trails are incredible and short. I will probably give the Tree Sharks a try at some point just to play with them, but I could not be happier with the interceptors.
Whichever one is widest... land shark or tree shark I think, maybe?
Tree shark is the wide one. I like the Tiger sharks and the screw in interceptors fine heads.RC
I'm hunting with the Tiger Sharks, for the 175 up front.
I like any of them if I can get them sharp!! Lol
Anybody use the glue-on tigersharks?
Any of them work great. If I had to pick just one it would probably either be the interceptor or tigershark. Both are a little wider than the land shark but a little narrower than that massive tree shark( which would be my first choice for turkeys or other light boned animals.
The Tiger Shark,Interceptor or Safari and the 165 Land Shark are all 1 and nine sixteenths cut just varying lengths. The 125 grain is an inch and three sixteenths.
What one do you use for turkeys??
Interceptors and Safaris for me, and boy can I get them sharp.
I have been using the glue on Tigersharks this season and really like them. Have taken a deer and a hog so far with them. Deer went 50 yards and hog 30 yards, good bloodtrails on both of them.
Tiger sharks due to the lighter poundage I shoot.
Just started shooting Simmons last season and used the non vented Interceptors and Tigersharks killed deer with both and both preformed perfect. Upped my bow poundage a little this yr and am shooting the Tree Sharks. Killed a buck with those and my broadhead switching days are over.
Tree Sharks for me. Anytime I can get a broadhead that big, to fly that good I'll take it.

X2 for my carbons. Like the 135 gr. Tiger Shark for my woods.
I actually prefer the per simmons.
Per simmons are good but i like the glue on solid interceptors.
Perfect weight , quiet and hold a good edge.
I like the big tree sharks. When I first got them I kinda laughed thinking there was no way they would fly good. Wrong. I have only tested them on a turkey so far so I don't have a lot of real world experience with them yet.
I haven't used them hunting yet but after seeing the pics on the post on broadhead wounds I ordered some Tree Sharks. I was also skeptical about the flight characteristics but had heard good things so I figured I'd give them a try. I have only shot them on a few occasions since I live in the nw rainforrest but they do fly excellent as long as the bow is tuned properly. When I shot them out of my 66# Stealth they flew like darts but my Brack which I just started to tune when the weather turned didn't do so well. They will definitely magnify any problems with the tuning of your bow.
For the Turks TREESHARK all the way.
Treesharks.
Inceptors ion the front of some straight River Cane!
Do the vents on the blades of the tigersharks create problems?Would solid blades be better?
Some people say they do,but any time mine have whistled it has been a bad release on my part any other time they are very quiet.
Right now I'm shooting 190gr interceptors but I'm leaning on trying the tree sharks next.
I have only used the land shark because they work so good I hate to switch . They cut about a 1 1/2 inch hole on the entrance , and two and a half inch hole on the way out. None of the five big game animals that I have shot with the LandShark have made it to the 50 yard line.Three of the five I have watched fall after traveling less than 30 yards.I have also shot the longer Simmions and it fly"s just like a field point.
Safari glue on for me.
I'm not sure? I've had great success with the interceptor, original interceptor, safari head, tree shark, and tiger shark not sure which I prefer best yet. Guess I will try the land shark this year and make my final pick. Lol. All good heads -i often times have 2 or 3 different models in my quiver and einie menie minei mo it.
A Tree Shark worked perfectly yesterday, on this dirty pig in S. Texas!

I'm liking the Safari model. I've taken 2 deer this year with it and have been impressed. I haven't tried other models and really don't see the need. Good penetration and short highly visible bloodtrails. And man that BH slices them open!
I have a Newfoundland moose hunt booked for the 2014 rut. Has anyone experience shooting them at larger critters? I'm shooting 55#.
hello the gang wich one i can use to get a 150 / 170 final weight ?
165 grain landshark 175 gr tiger shark

Me too. Haven't had them in the woods yet, but I like the way they fly and they seem to take a very nice edge.
Killed a 8 pointer and 2 hogs last year with the interseptors. Fly super and great blood trails.

James, how many animals have you killed with them?
How many animals have you killed with a bow?
Just curious, you have a lot of answers for everything for a 19 year old.

Easy now. Age doesn't always denote experience and I've always found James's posts to be sound regardless of personal experience. I've never killed anything with a Simmons yet would have responded the same based upon what I've read and inferred. I mean no disrespect, just don't like seeing guys called out.
