Thanks Charlie for posting a pic. Charlie had put out a blind about a week ago, and this is the first time we got a chance to hunt it. We were just getting settled in when, Charlie says there's a deer. Unexpecting it my bow was not handy, but the doe just kept feeding in behind a oak, long enough for me to grab it. She stopped at about ten yards straight in front of us, Charlie was in focus with the video cam, and I was just getting ready to release the string of my Thunderchild. O no was the first thought from my mind, as I shot over this doe. Upon reviewing the film, we saw that the doe had actually drop quite abit. And I just knowed I had blew a chance. But Chuck said it's early yet, and I'd have another chance. As we sat, getting colder as the sun set, we heard some movement, on the ridge just above us. We saw a deer at a distance, but was to late to be filmed. He kept feeding toward us, and at about 15-16 yards the VPA 175 found it's mark. I was unsure of to where the hit was, but was confident that I hit him, from the sound of the CX heritage 150 smacking his side. After finding the arrow, which had good blood on it, we were unable to find much blood. After tracking for about  an hour and a half, or two. We finally found him. It was diffently another Bloody Good Night. Thanks Charlie for all your help. And thanks be to God for the chance to take one of his creations. God bless.
