We know for older :archer: bows that B-50 or B-55 is best. BUT what is your favorate bow string for the fast :archer2: flight (newer) bows? D-97 ts-1 8125 ? and why :dunno:
9 strand padded loop Ultra Cam on one of my longbows. Very quiet and fast.I also have some Endless loop FF on a few bows that works great as well.
The D10 string used on SBD strings is hard to beat in my book.
I've used only Dacron B-50 for many years. I has always worked well for me and I have never had a string break. (knock on wood)
I use D-97 b/c it's less expensive. Works fine for me.
Ultra Cam 10 or 12 strand depending on the bow weight.
I like 14 strand D-97 because that is what was on my bow when I got it and I am all tuned up with it, If I change string material or number of strands I have to retune. When I get things right, I do not tinker any more!

D-97 12 strand comes on all of our bows
The SBD strings are tough to beat.
12 strands of D97 with loops padded to 16
I use strings any where from 12-16 strands made of fast flight plus material.
I'm really liking my D10 string because it hardly stretches at all. I used to like D97 but I had to keep twisting it because of it stretching and decreasing my brace height.

14 strand ultracam or 452x makes a great string.
Another vote for UC (Ultra Cam). I first tried D97 and although some love it I didn't care for it at all.
Ultracam 10 strand on hunting bows for me. But don't have a problem with 8 for under 50 lbs with a hunting bow
I like 12 strand 8125 and 8 strand D-10.
D-97 18 strands.
