Hi all,
Question : by changing point from 300gr to 200 gr can the extra lenght of arra be calculated?
Currently shooting Easton flatliner 400spine with 300 on the nose .
thanks

How much extra lenght are you talken about, a 100gr change will make the arrow stiffer I believe. but Stews calc can figure the math for ya.The length is the same and the head weight change doesnt change the length of the arrow.

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you, but I think I understand your question.
Does 100 grn. of tip weight equal 1 inch of arrow length, or 2 inches of arrow length?
Tom,
right on- maybe somebody could run this senario in Stu,s calculator - here we go Easton flatliner 400 spine - current 30" lenght with 300gr on tip - what would be lenght be if 200gr was to be used - dynamic spine calculation I assume.
Thanks
Asgeir
Well if you are contemplating longer shafts you certainly cant stretch them....
buy some full length shafts and test em at 32" and see....if they are too limber cut them 1/4" at a time until they fly right.... all the math in the world wont replace shooting the dad burn things...
too many factors like preload on the bow string, and shelf differences to get a generic formula... that goes for stews calculator too. all arrows don't come out of the chute equally.
