Zwickey four blade,or Magnus two blade. the newer two blades look thicker and wouldnt make such a clean blade print.JMHO
Something that stopped cutting and thereafter just punched out bone so I'll say multi-blade.
Single or double bevel not relevant at that point. ;-)
12 ga slug?
And the answer is???????
DB-SB
Double bevel multi blade.
I'm gonna guess a Woodsman! I shot one into a thin sheet of plywood one time and it blasted thru and made a hole that looked very similar to the one posted above. What ever broadhead it was, it would be interested in knowing the bow and arrow specs.
zwickey 4 Blade
Double Bevel Multiblade
RAGE! Sorry could not help myself, LOL!

I agree, that was my first thought as well.

X2 LOL!
Single bevel
So here is the funny part to me. Recently Nook posted this. It was a single bevel grizzly.

This one is mine. With very similar parameters and outcome. I was shooting a 57@28 Ferret recurve with 550gr FMJ and FOUR BLADE MAGNUS STINGER.

I find it interesting at the similarities between the two.
Either way, both are impressive and show the lethality of broadheads!

Shoot straight, Shinken
:archer2:
Who'da thought? :archer:
Both deadly.
Wwaaaiiiitt aaa minute.....
You told me it was: an official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle!
With a compas in the stock and a sun dial!!!
I sent that thing back the sundial was defective. I just stab an arrow in the ground now.
single bevel
two hundred shot ? Sounds like an assault BB gun to me.

Intersting. I think the kinetic energy of a good arrow out a a bow at teh highe end of the 50# range bow is devastating on all but teh biggest animals toughest bones. Was that a deer, looked like a big shoulder blade?
Just curious were the shoulder blades removed from the critter and shot or were they still attached with hide and hair?
My setup is very similar 56#@ 28 FMJ 400 125 gr Stinger 4 blade.Deadly combo.
Those stingers are deadly heads. What's interesting is the results from the grizzly. I did some testing with some late last year and got similar results. I did not get any big bone splits like everyone talks about and every time you shot one into bone the edges would curl over.

Mine was alive when that was shot. I believe the other was as well.
If the arrow stayed in the animal, then the shaft could have done that as the animal ran/thrashed or whatever...I had a similar shot with a wensel woodsman a few years ago and it made a hole like that too - and I assumed at that time it was from the shaft staying in the animal...
I'm with Friend and will go one step further for the fun of it. Four blade Z eskimo
Thanks Randy either way both shots are impressive.
