Knowing that everyone has different tastes, what is your favorite style of bow?.... Hill style, recurve, hybrid, self,.....ETC.
Hill style is my personal favorite, but i cant be content with just one style, I shoot and enjoy them all. :campfire:
1 pc. R/D Longbows that are light in mass and about 60" upper 40's to low 50's in draw weight.
One piece recurve.
I like one-piece bows nowadays. I like the light weight of them, which is a complete opposite of what I used to like. If I were to shoot only 3D and target archery, I would probably opt for the heavier 3-piece takedowns. But for hunting and all around use, I like the lighter weight one-piece bows, be it recurve or forward-handle, R/D longbows.
American semi-longbows for me. Just something elegant and classic about them.
long bows... I'm particularly intrigued with D-shaped bows.
3-piece hybrid or recurve!

Long with a string
Recurve......but I've not shot a longbow yet !
My 56" Big Jim Thunderchild 2pc #1 because it's so handy in tight spots and blinds... a close runner up in my 60" 2pc Big Jim Buff and both travel real well :bigsmyl:
Flatbows. Shot GN Bushbows for years; recently ordered a Jackknife Lil Creep and liked it so much I traded a Bushbow for a second Creep as backup. Perfect bow for me; short , light, quiet and stable, and the Jackknife takedown can't be beat.
Longbows, 1 piece, I shoot'em all from 56" Shrew Classic Hunter to 68" Northern Mist straight limb and some mild D/R bows.
Not much for the 3 piece bows, just too much wood to haul around, they sure are pretty though.
If I got a recurve it would a 50's style like a Ghost or somethin'

I agree.

1 pc r/d longbows. Quick, quiet, easy to carry and those graceful lines...
Prefer one piece longbows, at least 64" or more, in love with Hills and ELB's, and pretty much any D bow. Don't mind a good r/d either.
Longbows, one piece, two piece, or 3 piece hybrid as long as they have a locator grip of some description!
.Hybrid
I like them all, but mostly a moderate deflex/reflex longbow, like a Robertson or a GN Critter Gitter, 62" for my 26" draw. I would like to try a 62" Centaur.
64-68 one piece longbows. Straight or dished grip 55-65#.
I an liking straight end bows more but the GN Critter Gitter is my all time favorite.
One piece R/D longbow.
I love the looks of the more aggressive RD longbows with triangular shape riser and subtle reflex when strung.
I honestly don't know. I love a perfect D bow and believe they have the most appealing look. I also love the way they are like a feather in the hand.
I love the curves of a really good recurve.
I like long bows,. I like short bows./ I like inbetween bows/ I have them all and love them all/ What a delima.
I love Buffalo bows, Flatbows and Sythians. I like self bows. lam bows and glass bows and carbon bows.
I just cannot get into the head of folks that only like one kind of bow and only buy from one bowyer.
Now women? I have no problem loving and being faithful to one.
Bows. I'm hoplessly lost.
God bless you all, Steve
To be honest with you...I like all of them.
3pcs recurve. but would really like to shoot a Hill style some day

Same Here.
Recurves all the way for me. Longbows are probably great and they have quite a repuation for the lack of limb slap, but I'm addicted to the curve.
What ever I'm shooting at the time.
1pc. mild r/d Longbows, that string up with a nice D shape! 64" to 66" :archer2: ...KY
I like a mild R/D Longbow around 64" in the 54 to 58 lb. range for my 26" draw length BUT the most important element of that combo is THE GRIP ! If you don't "grip" the bow the same way EVERY time then you have inconsistent shooting. The best grip that I've found to date is the slight dish on my Robertson Purist Longbow...it also has a little more mass in the riser due to the take down connection hinge that seems to make the bow more stable while shooting
Recurve, my preference is going toward 1 pc. I love my vintage Kodiak, Red Wing Hunter and my new BW KB X.
I love my Big 5 & Cheetah Howard Hill bows but, I still like my Lost Creek Judge.
1 or 2 piece
R/D longbow
45-55 lbs
pretty wood is a plus
low grip but with some contour
fast-flight string capable

R/D longbows. 1 or 2pc.... :archer2:
My three BigJim Buffalos
ANY longbow
Hill style with a straight grip, can't get better than that.
