I like mine. I where it as a layer that keeps my arms free to move.

I have a couple and they are my favorite article of clothing. Super packable and they make a big difference as an inner layer when its real cold.

A great piece of hunting gear! Its nice to have an oversized one also, in the late season they are a nice outer layer cuz they can keep your bulky close gathered up outa your bow string.

I REALY want one of 2 Tracks Longhunter vest, they are Awesome!

I like the #10033 zip vest Mackinaw liner in conjunction with  the #10036 or #10038 Mackinaw jacket liner makes a great layering combo over smart wool and or filson undergarment.

My favorite piece of hunting clothing.  They are almost indestructable. I wear mine over my Asbell pullover in really cold weather because my hands stay warmer in the filson pockets than in the pullover.  A "must have" for a bowhunter.

I like vests.

I own two Filson vests and a similar wool vest by another manufacturer.  I also own seveal lined or insulated vests.  They kinda went out of style and for the life of me I can't understand why.  They supply warmth, and pockets and do not add bulk on my arms for outdoors stuff.

My opinion of the Filson vests is high.

I have one, too. Great vest.

One thing to watch for: when they say size Large, they mean large. I have kind of an in-between size build. I can usually wear a medium or a large and get by o.k. Not so with Filson. I ordered a wool shirt and the vest, and both were way too big for me. I gave the shirt to my brother, and got some clipon elastic dohickies for the back to give me a nice fit. Should have sent them back for mediums, but I figured I might grow a bit during my aging and it would fit fine. Hasn't happened so far, knock on wood!

I owned a Filson vest for 30 years and sold it last year after discovering Ibex wool vests.  Heavy wool with large pockets (inside and out)and certain models zip up all the way to your chin for complete neck coverage.  Like them so well that I own 3 of them.  You can get good prices at the right time of year.

I have the Model 20 and found a zip-in liner vest (looks brand new) at a thrift shop for $4.00!
These are heirloom quality garments. Can't go wrong buying one...or two.
