I have heard others complain about this had never experienced it before.I bought a used 15" Bob Lee riser put some 56" and now 58" limbs I had in the 45/49 lbs wgt. When I shoot I get limb vibration which I have never felt before with other bows and my other Bob Lee's normally very smooth.I tried fast flight and dacron, brace hgt, nock hgt and a GN quiver still have some vibs. Can anyone offer other ideas. Thanks Kip
What is your brace height?
One thing I have noticed is that if the string is too long and you try and over twist it to get a more favorable brace height (for quiet or whatever) there comes a point where more twisting is counterproductive.
I bet with the shorter limbs you have to go quite a bit higher on brace height. How you doing Kip? Haven't heard from you in a while, just used some Manuels season on some ribs the other day. Umm!
Kip, are you getting a "buzz'" from the limb tips when you pluck the string?
Limbsavers? Kip I used some of your seasoning you sent me on some deer meat, cooking now for supper. How is the grandson doing, dont know if you remember me, but I cleaned up the old boy scout knife and put handles on it for you.
Stump Brace about 7.5 and 8" not overly twisted.
Yellow yea a slight buzz.Ben I am feeling great but was hopeing to have more free time at 62 I lurk more than I post.Sam of course I remember you he used it this year on his first deer at 10 years old a four point.Haven't tried limbsavers but boy they don't look good to me.Thanks everyone. Will keep playing with it but I have a sweet Bob lee with longbow limbs that works perfect for me.Kip
You didnt mention arrows, arrow weight. Could have an impact if too light.
Check the tiller on the new limbs and make sure they are not out of wack.
