I've been reading posts and checking out sponsors and I've come to the conclusion that I need to work some overtime....
High on my list to name a few....
A new recurve OR TWO
Lots of cedar arrows
A wool pullover made by the Asbells
More woodsman broadheads
A big Jim Quiver
I found something I like on darn near every sponsor's page. This is a great website....LOVE the sponsor lists and the ads....and of course the content is VERY good as well.
It is just beginning. You will learn to buy things with more gusto has you go.
Yeah, but just think about how much fun you're gonna have and the endless list of things to learn :-)
Get used to it. It goes with the addiction. But it beats hanging out in bars.
Enjoy the ride :D
Gee, that's kind of a skimpy list you have there. Just wait till you have been at it a few more years. Then you will REALLY build a "must have" list of goodies. But there are far worse hobbies that you could spend your money on. At least trad gear is truly neat stuff, and you will meet some great people on this site.
Just wait till you get addicted to the classifieds. Then you will be searching the "How To" section for the how to pick a divorce lawyer thread. Shop in small increments that way they dont notice...LOL
Chris what are you doing over here? :) get back over to MWT. This place is Definitly addicting I don't post much but browse alot.
But look what a bargain all that stuff is. :bigsmyl:

Seth....like someone above said....gotta feed the addiction and this site can sure do it.
Did you get those stands re-situated?
Yep......thers gonna be a lotta "gotta haves"....so put in for a lot of OT at work!!
I got 2 of them hung this afternoon. One in a double oak surrounded by stunted cedars the other is in a big old gnarly cedar should have plently of cover in both.
Good luck....send pictures when you kill one!!
In response to your title, Why should you be any different. :D
Good luck with your journey.
And so it begins......
There is no end to it. It's fun. You can't put a price on fun.
You could be getting in a lot more trouble on other sites. Just good people here willing to help each other out.

Lots of great comments....you've all taken my post in the spirit it was intended. My wife just rolls her eyes.......
You're definitely not alone. Wait till you buy a bow from the classifieds and see how many used postage stickers it has on it :D
He He He money can be spent in so many different ways, if you've got extra to spend on your desires good for you, talked to my brother in law on Christmas,,,,a bicycle riding buddy of his spent 9 grand on a new road bike.....that's 9 new custom bows and then some...a little perspective...and grateful to have employment that provides for the few little extras I get to shoot regularly....
You will learn all the tricks like getting a 70" tube from the mail truck into the house without the Wife seeing it.
This is an acquired skill and not to be attempted by first timers. :bigsmyl:
LOL,Grasshopper you've come far!My room used to be called the bow room, now my wife calls it the Museum.I love the looks on peoples faces when they enter. One fella had to go get his wife to confirm he hasn't got it bad yet.Its amazing whats accumulated over 45 years of doing this.I wouldn't have it any other way.
Like frankwright says. Now Ive gotta go get a steak to put on my eye!
