I sold/traded all my recurves and made the switch back to longbows. After shooting several longbows over the years I've set my sites on BigJim's Buffalos and absolutely love them! Can't wait for the fall season already and even thinking perhaps I'll take one on an out of state hunt next year. (http://i530.photobucket.com/albums/dd342/EVANSON/IMG_3783.jpg)

I'm a recurve guy and have had a bunch of longbows but never hunted one until this year. Big Jim changed that, I can't give his bows any higher compliment.
I should be about a month away from a Buffalo TD all zebrawood
Great looking bows!
My gosh that one in the middle is GORGEOUS! Wow. Def got my eye on a Jim-bow someday.
Those are "eye candy" for sure! :)
"Buffalo gals, won't you come out tonight?
Come out tonight, Come out tonight?
Buffalo gals, won't you come out tonight,
And dance by the light of the moon."
Hey Marc, you've got a beauty there too! Love to see the Buffalo zebra when she arrives. What are its specs?
AWESOMEEEE looking bows Michael
Big Jim is an artist. I haven't found a camera yet that can show the true detail in the woods Jim uses.
Michael, you have an excellent collection!
Mike
Man do I know it Mike! Thanks for helping me complete the collection. Stay well and God bless, Michael
Great looking stable there :)

64" 50@28 but I've been thinking 62". When Jim calls I'll talk it over with him and decide.
two of my favorite woods in one pic - dalmatian ebony and redwood burl - AWESOME looking bows!
Really been wanting to try a buffalo, hoping Jim comes back to the big Kentucky shoot so I can try one out.
Those look great...so what's your favorite length buff to shoot? I'm very interested in a buffalo. I've shot a 56" thunderchild and it is very nice...think a 60 or 62 inch buffalo would be perfect.
Oh my....major stable envy!!! :notworthy: :notworthy:
tomcfc11,
while I love shooting them all,I've always felt a 62" longbow was the best all around length for my style of hunting. I hunt in tree stands and on the ground as well. The 60" is also great but I feel the 62" draws a tad smoother. The 64" is a great 3D bow and is very forgiving. Bottom line though is, I hunt with them all!!
Very nice
:wavey:  :notworthy: :campfire:
That dalmation ebony is one of the nicest looking bows ive seen!
Flatshooter, what is your draw length? I think a 62" is a magic number as well. Thanks again.
Tom
I draw to a tad over 28"
Davey, shoot me an e-mail and pics of your 62" Buffalo. mruggiero48@yahoo.com
