I was out shooting in the rain today! my feathers got soaked and are now flat This happened last year hunting but as they dried were fine. Not this time how do you keep them dry for hunting?? This has prob been talked about over and over nice to get new opinion not looking to start a argument thank ahead.
you can either use the waterproofing powder sold by most trad shops, silicone spray meant for waterproofing shoes, or don't hunt in the rain
baby bottle liners work well.
I;'m with V I, I use baby bottle liners.
Cat Quiver.
Try hair spray or tire shine. Or fletching cover.
So when you use bottle liner put it on with rubber band?
Industial 100% silicone spray lubricant is what I have used for years. No odor, works excellent. I've tried No Snow from 3R and works good too. dino
You can bring those flat feathers back by steaming them. Good suggestions above.
I use a repelant as above but I also put a plastic bread bag around my arrows while they are in the bowquiver.
When I hunted in the rain with baby bottle liners, I would pull the liner over the feathers and push the nock through the liner. When you shoot the liner will end up at your feet. No rubber bands. Hap
