Not sure if anyone else started a thread about this young guy yet or not but I'd love to be one of the first to say congrats on a terrific accomplishment for ANYONE, let alone a young guy.
I'm sure the commitment and success demonstrated and shown above is not limited to bowhunting and I can only imagine how proud your mom and dad must be of you.
Merry Christmas and my best wishes for your continued success in the years to come.
That young Man is a heck of a hunter. A lot of us Ga. folks have been following his season and the doe is great but there have been two fine racked mature bucks put on the ground by him and his Black Widow this year. Congrats Young Man and proud Dad.RC

Well done Luke, Congrats!
Just ran across this thread. Some how, I never saw it. Thanks for the kind words about my son. He is one heck of a hunter and guide. He is a hard worker and he makes us proud every single day.
He has had a love of archery from the time he could walk. He began bowhunting at 8 years old and took his first whitetail buck that year. He took up the recurve at 13 years old. Watching his growth into a traditional bowhunter has been awesome.

His 2012 year was great for anyone, much less a 14/15 year old. I will say that luck had little to do with it. He practices very hard with his Black Widow and can shoot circles around many grown men.
His total for the year was several hog, a good black bear and 4 whitetails.

He will chase the bears in Canada in a few weeks and then he will go with me to Namibia. I am pretty sure he will shoot me into the poor house over there, lol. Following that, he will most likely draw a Georgia gator tag. All the while he will be giving the Georgia turkey, hogs and deer fits. I think 2013 will be another great season for a young man that works very hard at this wonderful sport.
Yes, we are proud of the game that he has taken but I am much more proud of the sportsman and woodsman that he has become.
