Title: The Tinder to Build a Fire
Post by: BowHunterGA on December 19, 2012, 08:06:00 PM
Christmas 1 year ago was the start of several great things that happened in the year of 2012. I gave my daughter her first longbow which resulted in a year where we attended numerous Traditional 3D shoots, met lots of amazing folks, and ultimately gave me the idea to start the "Simply Traditional" website. These events gave me the idea for the first original article I published on the site.

Just days before Christmas I would like to share the story with everyone here. Many have already read it and if you have I hope you enjoyed it. For those who haven't I invite you to check it out and I hope it will bring a smile to your face.

Merry Christmas Trad Gangers!!!!

Way to go!!!!!! Great story!!!!......My daughter started with a fiberglass longbow at 8, she turns 25 in April. She also prefers a recurve now and every year we make it to Denton Hill to shoot together and get some quality dad/daughter time that we dont seem to be able to get to have the rest of the year. Its something about the laid back attitude of traditional archery that just fosters great relationships with our kids..........
