Having a hard time letting go of this unfortunate CT shooting. Too many young lives lost for nothing.
So, for 2013...I'm hoping every TG member here finds Peace, Tranquility and a stronger bond with their families. It's time to reach one hand up to the Man upstairs, that's what HE's there for and the other hand out to our brothers and sisters because that's what we're here for.
Merry Christmas everyone and pray the New Year brings us health and happiness. :campfire:
Amen Joe,and Merry Christmas to all members.
It is a sad world we live in. I sat through my daughters (3 yrs old) christmas recital with a weapon on my hip. I pray for the families affected, and that none of our families ever need those prayers. Being married to a doctor of psychology, i have heard a different view of this, while i may not agree, it is clear that we as people need to adjust our priorities. I know most on this forum have their heads straight, but please, if you can help someone, please do, and if you need help, please ask. I hope your creator looks over you and yours this holliday season, and that you look over those that you can.
:clapper:
Amen to that Skipper! Your a Good Man! :notworthy: Hope to get together soon and send some wood! :archer:
Well said Joe. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I agree Joe, I tried to read the names and descriptions this morning of those lost and just couldnt make it through. As the father of 3 little girls my heart was broken for the childrens parents and the families of the adults. I will be holding my family a little tighter and wondering how something like this can happen.
So true, Joe, thanks for your thoughts.
Amen Joe!
Very hard times for those involved. God bless. As a father and Grandfather, I just ache though and though.
Amen Joe, Thanks for your thoughts.
Merry Christmas Joe and TG.
And may some form of comfort find those families who have been crushed by this tragic and horrific event.
As a father of two grown daughters and being always concerned about their safety still, I cannot remotely fathom the agonizing pain felt from the loss experienced by our northeastern brothers and sisters.
Prayers to us all.
:)
 Amen.
My heart is broken for all the families that are struggling to find some sense out of this tragedy. I pray that they turn to God as He loves them and wants to comfort them and guide them through this darkest hour.
All the Best for the Holidays, and into the New Year. Hold on tight to our Family.Friends and Community. Maxx
I am having a hard time watching it on the news, i have grandchildren two going to be 4 yr old and one a month old which is at the childrens hospital recovering from open heart surgery, so he can have stomach surgery in a week,i really dont know what i would do if something would ever happen to one of them.My prayers go out to the families, and i hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a safe New Year. Dave
I am avoiding the news coverage unless it pays tribute to the victims. I'm so sickened I really am speechless and trying not to speak of it.
Amen, Joe, and back at you!
I hope all is well throughout this Christmas Season and the New Year for all the Gang!
And prayers up for all the victims of the seemingly senseless tragedies!

I work everyday in a prison and deal with some of the worst people you can immagine and i'm still shocked that someone could do something like that.God help those families. Thanks to the teachers in that school who helped those kids. You are a HERO.
Well said! God Bless them.
Sorry that I overlooked the meaning of your thread Joe, your spot on. I'm not a man of faith but glad for those that are. I will continue reaching out to my family and friends. I tell my boys I love them 100 times a day and although Noah is embarrassed around his buds I gotta let him know. Our opportunities to do so are limited.
Its time!!!Mark

 Amen and may The Lord comfort and look after the families and friends of those who lost so many little angels and to the Hero's that did their best to protect them during such a senseless tragedy. My heart and prayers go out to them during this difficult time.
Hey Joe, nice thought. I wish for Pease and happness to all.
As believers the one thing we know is that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ welcomed every one of those 20 children into His kingdom with outstretched and loving arms. Our prayers are with the parents, grandparents and community members of Newtown, Conn.
