One was the beautiful sound i heard while field testing my N.M Whisper., the other was my Pop, whos been gone many yrs now.
After a looong time hanging on the rack, i finally took the time to repair the crack in the riser right where the shelf and riser meet and now shes as good as ever. With a little hillbilly ingenuity, and a bit of patients ive saved one of my all time favorites from being a permanent wall hanger.
I was told by several, that it couldnt be fixed, but i heard the words of my Dad, when he told me many times ,that CANT never accomplished sh&2, but CAN , will accomplish most anything.
Thanks Pop, for taking the word CANT, out of my vocabulary. (http://%20 [/IMG]
Cool!
Nice! I've wanted to try a Whisper for some time. Glad you got yours back in action. Too bad we don't have more Dad's like yours.
AMEN!
Very nice!!
Thanks for sharing...I've always felt the same way about "CANT".
Great words of advice for all at any age.
Ha ha... good for you!
Gotta love smart Dads :)
Good for you to not let the word CAN'T dictate your life!!
Cheers
Isnt it funny how the wisdom of our Fathers, never becomes more evident than when we, ourselves, begin to grow older.
With that little bit of wisdom and a determined nature, hopefully this ole bow will out last me, now that its been repaired.
Good for you!
Moleman,
What did the crack look like before you fixed it? I have a suspicious line at the junction of the shelf and riser on my Baraga.

If you want it bad enough , there are no cant's! Glad you could fix that old girl!
