Title: multiple layers
Post by: Reformed on August 18, 2007, 01:07:00 AM
Question to all that have the anwers I am in the process of glueing up a limb sample  seeing how thick I can get the lam before I need to use another lam or two or three thinner so this a multi pronged question First is that the lam are to be steamed this will allow them to be more stout but with less or more snap back into the limb and second seein that these are steamed they need to dry out before any other lams can be glued to it to make the limb stiffer     with multiple lams in a rscurved shape is it going to be harder to get glue or resin sothat there are no air pocket in the limbs or is this method that I am about to try a road to disaster  starting thicknesss of limb lams are 1/16
