Hey guys
I shoot a border back douglas 44# at my draw lenght of 25inches. Wondering if anybody has had some good arrow setups they would like to share
thanks
At your draw length A Douglas Fir shaft in the 45-50-# spine should handle points from 125gr to 160gr with ease.55- 60# should handle the 200-225gr heads. Not sure how a heavy head will fly with the shorter draw length, the experts can fill you in on that.Good luck
thanks for the reply
think i might go with carbons thought
try some of the GT blems from Big Jims in 35/55. The nice thing is if you decide you don't like them your only out 45.00 if you do your own fletching. I've bought 4doz of the blems and I'm very happy with them. I've always shot aluminum but I wanted to experiment with some carbons and I shot the GT's when I was still shooting compounds. I have the 55/75's and 75/95's and they fly like darts out of my recurves.
