I have a friend looking to get into traditional archery and he has his heart set on a 3 piece longbow non ILF. Other than going used where can he look for the least expensive 3 piece. He is a short draw and would want 60" or 58". I have a $1000 custom 3 piece on the way and he is looking to spend less than half of that if possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you
Maddog. Here is one he made me. Very reasonable prices. Less than $400 I believe.

Look at our discount bows we have right now, great deals! On our website or here in the sponsor classified.
I'll second Legends bows, they've got a gray actionwood/black glass cyclone on their site right now for under 500 if i remember right. That's one heck of a great price considering all the great reviews that model is getting lately on this site.
Thanks for the info. I will pass it along.
RER makes a very nice 3 piece takedown longbow, don't know where prices start though...
Speaking of an RER Privateer has one listed right now in mint condition in the classifieds and he has a very good price on it and it's near new..It's a good weight for a beginner at 42# and 64" 3 piece longbow...It's also a looker...
Sarrel's archery is having a big discount Christmas sale. He makes one of the sweetest 3pc takedown longbows....the Blueridge. He's in your friends price range.
X2 on the Legends Cyclone long bow. I have shot one of their Cyclones and it is an excellent value. Respectable performance, very smooth and accurate.
