And what can you tell me about your bow? I have shot HHA longbows for about a dozen years. Mainly compounds though. I have always enjoyed shooting my longbow but never got serious with it until June. This past spring I had a bad bone spure in my neck vertebrae that left my right hand (left handed thankfully) almost useless. I sold my compound as I couldn't hold it. I thought my archery days were done at 41. Strangely though I figured out after my surgery I could kind of hold on to my longbow so started shooting it and ordered another in a lighter poundage. I can shoot it pretty good. Especially considering my right hand is pretty much deformed looking w/o much strength. I am looking at ordering another bow. My original intent was to buy another HHA bow about 40lbs for practice but am curious about recurves. I saw Dryad had a heck of a sale recently which got me curious about them. They are also close to where I live. I am tempted to go and see them and try some of their bows out. I wish I would have had time to do so when they had their sale but with my screwed up hand I did not want to order something without trying it first and just didn't have time to go by. I am still considering one of their static recurve bows. Now after reading my long story I am curious what some of you Dryad owners think of your bow. What are your bow specs, what do you suggest, etc? I have done so e searches on Dryad and have read positive reviews but not many reviews.

I have a set of Dryad ILF limbs on a non Dryad Riser. I can tell you the limbs [Static tip] are excellent in fit and finish and performance. You will not be disappointed with their line of equipment!
I also have a set of their Static Tips on a 15" Sky Riser and it is the smoking fast and is the quietest setup I've ever owned or been around. Just ordered another set from them yesterday in fact for a 17" sky Riser.
Thanks for your replies. Are your static limbs the ACS versions or their standard versions? Quite a jump in price between the two.
Brazos - Mike's building me a 17" Epic riser that should be here in Dec. I have a pair of ACS 4G Longbow Longs waiting on it to arrive. This setup should give me 47#@28" on the mid setting. You're welcome to come shoot it after I get it.....unless the bow buying bug gets you before then. Lol.
I have a set of there 4G acs longbow limbs on a das 17" riser, smooth and VERY quiet with excellent cast. Great people to deal with.
If you are close enough to go for a visit you definitely should do that. Being able to touch, feel, and shoot bows is by far the best way to find the right one for you. Dryads are top end bows with a great reputation - you won't be disappointed!
My limbs are the Standard Dyrad ILF Bamboo under clear glass....36-42#'s on a 17" Zipper riser. Best shooting bow I own!
Give me a call and come by. It's much better to be able to handle and shoot them before you buy.

I have a 15" Epic Riser with a set of Legend ACS CG limbs that are 50 lbs at my 26" draw length. The grips are small which is great for me as that is what I prefer. The bow is very quiet and shoots as well as any bow I have ever tried. I know anyone that has shot my set up loved the bow. Being able to try one out at their shop will be well worth your time.
Thanks for you insights. I surely want to go try one out first. The reason Dryad hit my radar is because I approx 45 miles away. Not many opportunities to try before you buy. Just wanted to get an idea about how Dryad stacks up against the competition. I am a solo trad archer. Other than my Hills the only other trad bows I see are in pictures.
