Brothers and Sister I need your help i'm in the market for a new longbow and i'm considering Canebrake or Eastern Cottonmouth (not to be confused with the southern species) skins for the back.
But not sure what these skin pattern will look like on a narrow limb and a black limb back.
Can those who have experience with them post pic's? I'd much appreciate it, thanks
Up for the Morning crew :coffee:
Just put these on a couple of days ago. I guess you could call them canebrakes, real tan with a pink cast to them. This is a ladies bow, one of my wife's that I reworked for a friend's daughter.
I prefer to split one timber rattler skin down the middle and use the sides for the limbs. Often the pattern is more "striking" than the center pattern on a skin.
