My wheel bow I used to shoot was "slow" at 249FPS....so speed is not that important to me either....
ALL my buddies shoot BW recurves and they seem to be in the mid 180's.
The BW PSA I had was 57#@30" and shot 540 gr arrows 185 FPS.
thanks

Voodoofire1, I think you make a typo. You wrote 90# @28" on one of your bows. :scared: Even if I combined both my shoulders into one I couldn't draw a 90#r !!
I realize it's not a typo btw.........
Voodoofire1,
Hearing about several hogs in one of the areas we hunted last year.....but have not been out much looking myself. I have been hunting squirrels on the other side of the lake and have not seen any sign there....I NEED to check out the pond where the feeder was getting hit this spring, bet they are in there wallowing. That is the general area where I am getting hogs reports from. I need to go check all the water holes I know about in there....hogs GOTTA have water and lots of it when it is this hot.
Yup.......90# is right....saw him shoot one about that heavy a LOT at the SEMO hog hunt last year....he is THE man when it comes to shootin HEAVY bows!!!!! Plus he is a great and generous man as well!
