It finally came together for me yesterday. My commitment to the longbow has been rewarded with my first trad bow deer. Until yesterday I had still not even loosed an arrow yet I've been enjoying my best deer season ever. I've had a 9pt buck at 12 yrds behind a bush never offer a clear shot. I've had a doe at 5 yards that just wouldn't slow down and even bolted when I BBAAHHDD at her while at full draw. I had three other does under 15 yards that either busted me because of wind swirling or me moving too much
AWESOME!!!! Congratulations!

Yeah Bob, season isn't over yet but I will be focused to try and help my son get his first now. If I get another it will be all the sweeter though.
Congratulations! You were very wise in backing out on her and showing patience. That's sometimes hard to do! Very nice pictures also! Good luck with helping your son to get his first!

Where's the part of the story where you call your buddy for help and celebrate the harvest? Oh wait I guess that didn't happen. Congrats anyway lol. Oh and you should also note that you would have filled your tag weeks ago if you weren't so busy texting all day in your tree.

Barry, I thought you were still out of town! Next time for sure. Oh by the way, while you were sitting on the couch tonight Cameron just drove by and saw at least 15 deer two fields down from your house. Oh, I texted this to you also :biglaugh:
