I have a dozen ce heritage 350's cut 28.5'' is there any hope of me getting them to shoot properly from my 51# @ 28 PLV . or should i just sell em and start over? my DL is just shy of 28''
I normally run the rule of thumb of at least 1" extending past the riser but others may think differently. Oops I missed the intent of the question, I was thinking of it strictly from the length perspective.
Sorry, I don't think there is way are you going to get that arrow to work with your bow. You probably need to be looking at the CE 150s, or go find a 70 pound bow.

I use the 350's for a few of my setups and love them. I have 730gr. of total weight with 350 gr. up front. I think they are cut 29.25 back of point to center of nock. My 66" longbow and 56" recurve love them. Both bows are 61#@28". This is perfect for these bows. I think with your shorter length shafts and lower weight draw it would be hard to believe you would get it setup where you would be happy with it. I have the 250's set up for low 50# bows at about 690gr. total with 250gr up front that are magic, flight something beautiful to behold. The 150's I have run about 525gr and plenty for hunting but are a little flatter shooting for targets and 3-d's. I love the ease of tuneability the Heritage shafts provide.
I tried with almost the exact same setup and no deal....
Short answer is no. depending on your point weight and finished arrow length, you should be shooting 150's or possible 250's if you are leaving them long and adding a lot of point weight.
Agree.
If you want stay with CE then go with the 150. Try 30" with around 200-225 up front.
Better yet, IMHO, get some AD Trad Lites and watch your tuning headaches fly out the window.
thanks guys for the info, that is about what i was expecting to hear, but hoping i could use them, guess i will put these 350's up for sale.
I shoot the 350 out of my PLX's with a 100 gr brass insert and 290 tip, they fly GREAT
I would say no try 150's.
