Title: Thanksgiving, longbow, and grandson
Post by: owlbait on November 23, 2012, 07:49:00 PM
My 3 year old grandson is visiting from Florida. He doesn't get to shoot his bow much at home, so he brought it to shoot at Papa's house. That longbow was made over 15 years ago from a 1/4 log of Red Mulberry that produced 3 longbows. One for my daughter(his mom), one for my wife, and one for me. My wife still has hers and mine  now belongs to my grandson's Daddy. Great shooting bows, and he loves shooting.

Thanks Rick. That bow belonged to my buddy at the local Sport Shop for years between my daughter and grandson. His kids shot it a ton, as well as hundreds of kids that came into the shop. I bought it back and had Whip refinish a few years back.(I KNEW he'd need a good stick bow).
