When it comes to trad pics, theres nothing quite as classic as those of Hill style bows and fine back quivers.

Nate, everytime I see one of your pictures two things come to mind. I know I need a Sunset Hill bow and I want to walk the woods where the photos were taken.

Great pics guys! After seeing some of these great quivers, i think i see a winter project ahead.
After 30 plus yrs of use, my old quiver will never be retired, but it has definitely earned a few days off now and then.
Out killin stumps on a beautifull early spring day.

Howard Hill Redman with Hill 22"Back quiver filled with tapered cedars
Here's my new setup! Homemade Hill style quiver 23", made with Latigo leather and 5 oz chrome tanned supple leather. Nice and light with room for about 20 arrows.
Got the Cheetah a couple weeks ago, and its a lot of fun to shoot! Actually this thread and a few others are the reason I had to get a Howard Hill!
Ben Maher, that picture of your Redman is great! It really made me want to go out and get one!
Here's mine!

Looking good with your gear there TW.
Two4 - headed into the mesquite/cactus/canyon country of the Tx panhandle next week for a spot/stalk hog hunt. Given the terrain potential for belly crawling in stuff that sticks, pokes, and cuts...I'm covering all my options gear-wise. :D
Good luck on your hog hunt Rob! Wish I could join you!

My Echo with a quiver I just put together last week. Works good.
(The Dog is ole Burrdock. A pretty good knuckle head most of the time)
Anyone else? I love to drool on Hill style eye candy!! :D
Nice looking quiver Chuck. I wish you much success with the Echo.

Bud, for some reason I'm really liking the looks of that first quiver! Very nice work indeed.
I gotta agree....that double stitched top looks classy. Nice work all the way around y'all!

Matt Green, Thanks for the good word.
Some great looking quivers on here for sure.

Thanks guys.
A front view. I chose to fold the leather inside rather than outside to offer a clean edge look. If I had it to do over again I'd have made it about an inch and-a-half narrower. I can stuff alot of arrows in that thing.

Gary- That squirrel has beautiful makings. She'd be awful purtty on the wlll with a sawtooth oak acorn in her hands.

Chuck, love that pic! Did you do anything (rubs, creams, treatments, body lotions) to that HHA quiver? I just ordered and received the "soft" model and the leather is a little on the light tan side. I'd like to darken it up a little.
Andrew,
If I remember correctly, mine came dark. I'm using Obenauf's LP. Maybe someone else will chime in on this question.
I LIKE those arrows - are the fletchings from local turkey?

This has been one of my favorite threads, so I wanted to bring it up again and finally add my contribution. This thread with all the beautiful Hill style bows and quivers is what made me want to give them a try, now I am hooked. Here is a quiver I made myself and my Northern Mist Classic.
Thanks Tom
