Title: Java Man Assyrian
Post by: tzolk on November 18, 2012, 02:20:00 PM
Here is a beautiful bow made by Java Man Gregg Coffey. The Assyrian model. Beautiful Curly Etimoe veneers. A cocobolo riser that looks like a deer camp, camp fire that goes well with a black glass belly. 60" 55@28 , smooth as silk and fast as lightning.Enjoy!

@Hopewell Tom. The bow is dead silent shooting split but not 3 under. With my bow hush stuff on there, its quiet 3 under. Trimmed those suckers up a bit. Don't need the rubber things.

I hate to dig up an old thread but how does the bow shoot? It sure looks nice but wonder about speed and handshock.

I own this bow now,It is one of the smoothest bow I've ever shot, I draw 30in with no stack,no hand shock, and wicked fast.It is 60lb @ 30in, and shoots a 600gn arrow with blinding speed. Burt

I just became the new owner of this bow, for a longbow guy, I love the one piece simplicity and how smooth the static limbs feel during the draw and especially on release. Traded away one of my top bows for this one. A real classic bow, more guys should try em.

I can't put this bow down, put a new string on her and I can't miss. Really like the way the static limbs feel. And the grip is perfect, have to think this is the most underrated bow I have come across. This bow and my Thunderchild have made me a believer in smaller can be better.
