hello guys i am interested in getting a new bow and wondered what tall tine guys thought which from what i seen...... "all good" of there bows cause i am thinking of getting one, Another bow is a hill country what are all your thoughts i can drive and shoot a hill country but not a tall tines but thats what i really want
All good, but I LOVE Tall Tines. Both shoot great, so its up to you. You will kill tons of game with either, which do you prefer yourself looking at them?
I've got some tall tines in Ohio you are more than welcome to shoot. Pm me
I have both with the Hill Country being the Wildcat with longbow limbs the TT being a recurve. I know two totally different bows! Workmanship on both is great both are quiet and the speed seems good. So I really am not much help, would not hurt to go shoot the Hill Country if they are in driving distance. You would not be making a bad choice with either one.
I can't give an opinion on the Hill Country as I haven't shot one. That said, I've owned lots of bows over the years and shot almost everyones bow that comes through my camp. I currently own 2 Tall Tines and can honestly say I've never shot a nicer shooting recurve.
Jarrod, just come to Hartville and shoot the Bobcat recurve I have at the house, you won't need to wonder anymore which bow to buy :bigsmyl:
Thanks Kenny I probably am gonna make the trip but really love the TT just a masterpiece and want one!!
I hear you bud. They are beautiful.
Ive owned a wildcat and my buddy has a TT(for sale on here). The wildcat was nice, and i prefered the grip better then the TT, but neither were the "one" for me. Both were good quality and really well made!
As stated above, both are very nice bows but not for everyone. I am thinking of selling my TT, although it is a great shooting bow it is not my go to bow. I haven't had the Hill Country long enough to decide although I am really liking it seems to shoot better every time I take it out. Do yourself a favor go and check out the Hill Country bows, would be worth the trip even if you decide they are not for you. At least you would know.

Man the choices in life you gotta make ....LOL!!!
two really different bow grips. I have shot both and between the two i prefer the grip on the Hill Country. I cannot say one bad thing about the TT, but for me the grip did not work. The hill country grip is excellent and is very similar to my habu's which so far has the best grip i have found. The habu is just impossible to get and the HC is half the price.
BTW my new Bobcat should be here soon.....hopefully!!
Now I gotta go work on that grip some more . Darned and I had it finished.LOL
Pulling your leg, Mike
God bless, Steve
TallTines, but I haven't tried the Hillcountry
I have a custom grip on my TT curve that mirrors the grip I saw on another members TT (thanks George) that I liked alot that differs from the standard grip.Grips are very personal. This grip is amazing for me and the bow is a superb shooter.Very accurate and stable.64 inch bow.
I have never shot a Hill country so cant compare the 2 bows.
Guess it doesn't matter how far Brian is away from me sounds like he will make it right no matter what for me so I guess I am gonna order this morning!!
I can't say a bad thing about my Talltines recurve bows I lo e them . Just a solid bow all around.
Never shot a Hill Country but i am sure they are nice !
