Well,
In another post I spoke of:
1. Falling out of my treestand(thank the lord I was strapped in)Just a little bruised up
2. Crashing my Jetta into a tree @ 10mph causing $5500 in damage
But #3 is the killer
3. Getting laid off due to the company being in financial turmoil. I was the 2nd to be let go. Some Production employees are on 32 hours. They eliminated my position as Process Engineer.
Well
Now, only better things can happen right?
O man!!! looks like murphy is sitting on your shoulder mate.... Chin up it can only get better man your in my prayers.
Oh man, keep positive.
Sorry to hear the bad news. Then again. Maybe it's just good news in disguise. Better opportunity awaits!
Remember: You can't stop the waves. But you can learn how to surf.
Keep your chin up ... good news can come in 3's too ....

I am one to believe most things happen for reasons!
Man I can relate, similar thing have happened to me. Just have faith and focus on all the positive things in life that you have been blessed with. You got your health, You can probably draw unemployment and you have more time to hunt.
I am sure you will find another job. Love hard and love life and your friends. It will work out.LCH

It seems like I heard many stories like this right after the election. Many companies were waiting for election results to be looking ahead and brace theirself for what they think is to come.
I really am tired of worry, they cut us back for the last year then decided to give management back their 10% cut. I elected to stay with my emploree's and remain cut. I really hate to hear it for you and the Irish in me wants to fight back. Tim in NC
Sorry to say, you won't be alone in the big CHANGE. I have 2 friends that have their own company's that are going to shut their doors and lay off their employees due to Obama Care. This is only the beginning!!
If there ever was a "shoulda, coulda, woulda" in your career path now may be the time. Make a plan and go for it.
Best of luck to you.
My family lost our two family businesses in the last six months that were around for over 50 years. But my family keeps moving on with other jobs so hang in there. But it does look like the next four will be worse than the first....my prayers go out.
How many stories do we hear about a guy getting laid off or released from a good job only to find out it was the best thing to happen because ..... this may well be the beginning of your success story.
Prayers for you and your family. Keep the faith, He is watching over you!
Sorry to hear, best of luck.
Clover industries is booming and is being relocated to the Milwaukee area. They make large hydrolic pistons.
check them out as a lot of engineers decided not to travel to the new location.
I too, agree with Elkken!
Best of luck with finding a new job!

Allow yourself to grumble a bit! It helps with the mind. However remember that family and friends are more important. Allow them into your life as much as you can and share life with them. It is how I got through such things in recent times.
Sorry! Things always work out for the best!
Good luck! Things are bad all over, but we can only hope these tough times will pass sooner rather than later.
Sorry to hear of your circumstances man. Praying for you and your family. I believe all things happen for a reason. Stay focused on what you do have and stay positive!
I pray everything will work out for you!
Really sorry to hear that Mark. Praying for you and your family.
God will pull you through if you can stand the pull! Hang in there God is faithful!
There is a reason for everything... don't be afraid to glance upstairs and do some soul searching...these times make a man. You are in my prayers.
Go out and shoot some arrows.......take your mind off of it for a bit. Clear your head and relax, then come up with a plan and go for it!
In the title of this thread I thought you shot 3 does (bad news does, but still 3 does) Was excited to read this and found that you were talking about actual bad news! Sorry to hear...Ryan
Here is how my wife looks at situations like this, I'm still trying to see it her way ;-)
1) You didn't break anything
2) At least you weren't going 50
3) There are better managed companies out there that will value your skill set.
Good luck bro.
Stay strong....don't let it get to you.
Best of luck Wissler, it's a rough time right now, espeacially for small businesses, lots of people don't get it. I work for a small biz along with many other companies and we were told prior to the election, that if Obama gets re-elected then there could be huge layoffs, paycuts and the possibility of the CEO taking the company back to his home country and it seriously looks like the latter is what's happening here. I wish you the best of luck finding a new job. I know a lot of people in the same boat, and contrary to what some may say, the job market isn't there and it's only going to get worse, keep your head up and stay strong.
I know the feeling i am 56 years old lost my full time jb 2 1/2 yrs ago, been working part time jobs and some contruction in the summer ever since! People w bachlors/masters degrees taking jobs here in Northern Mi for $8.50/hr at Wally world etc! just to work! My son just got full time w benefits as soon as the election was over the next day they had a meeting and said except essential employees all others will be cut to under 32hrs and health benefits are history! I have had no health ins for almost 3yrs its real scary at my age for sure! Elections have consequences ! Fallout has only just begun!
:(
Sent you a PM. I am a process engineer as well and will look through my contacts for job openings if you are interested. Best of luck and god bless. Go loose an arrow...you'll feel better.
Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Hang in there though when God shuts one door he opens up another one.
