Title: Shipping to BC
Post by: ranger 3 on November 16, 2012, 03:45:00 PM
I sold some feathers to a guy in BC Canada and checked the shipping. It was $29.95 that was cheapest, needless to say I didn't sell them.

A couple hundred feathers usually runs around $5 to have shipped up here. There's something wrong with the calculator on the internet or the individual behind the desk was inexperienced.

I went to USPS and that is what the calculator said for a flat rate box. Am I missing something?

Use the priority shipping cardboard envelopes that they provide. Or make your own box and make it as small as possible. It's a lot cheaper than using their boxes!!!! Those prices you stated sound like express mail. I ship to Canada all the time.

That's a mistake. They can go in a large envolpe and it would be under 5$ for sure.

You've definitely been hosed down.

I just sent a TD bow running 4 lbs 06 oz. from Oregon to Ontario Priority mail USPS, Insured for $300 and it only cost $37.00.

use a international flat rate envelope. should cost about $6.00
