Title: November Profits To Wounded Warriors
Post by: Brad Isham on November 11, 2012, 09:04:00 PM
The Sound Of The String is honoring our wounded warriors in the month of November by donating half of all book profits to the Boulder Crest Retreat for Wounded Warriors.

http://bouldercrestretreat.org/

Boulder Crest Retreat intends to offer the following facilities and services to wounded warriors and their families who come to rest and heal:

ADA handicap accessible "greentech" cabins, available for 2-7 days for approx. 250-500 families per annum.

An ADA handicap accessible "greentech" barn/meeting house with organic farm-to-table meals.

A bird sanctuary and fishing pond, nature walks, foraging, photography, bird and wildlife watching, as well as therapeutic dogs.

A 3D archery range and other onsite adaptive sporting activities are planned.

Off-site activities including swimming, canoeing, kayaking, tubing and fishing in the Shenandoah River; hiking the Appalachian Trail; trail rides; biking; antiquing; winery tours; golf; tennis; a therapeutic horse farm; and a country farm and petting farm.

Profits from every book purchased through Amazon.com (US, UK, EU), Kindle, and through the website  http://www.thesoundofthestring.com  will be shared through the month of November.

The Sound Of The String is a great gift for hunters, non-hunters, men, women, and anyone who is a fan of action, adventure, travel, or archery. It is written like an old Hemingway novel with a modern spiritual twist.
