I've found one way to keep my kids interested in shooting their bows is to change up targets for them. Pumpkins did the trick today.

Your pumpkin recyclers have good form. They have been well taught.
A lot of the local jack-o-lanterns jump off the bridge over the 4-lane. :)
Good stuff!

They do that in Maryland as well, must be something in the water.

Outstanding!!!! I had my 3 1/2 shooting his Hulk carved pumpkin today :) He loved it, he was pretending to be "Hawkeye" great stuff.
I just got a couple new bows in the mail the other day. I strung them up,grabbed some arrows and headed outside. Forgot my target was burried in the shed. Put it (and just about everything else I had out side) in there during the Hurricane and Nor'Easta'. Didn't want to waste time digging the target out,so I started shooting my wife's Halloween/Thanksgiving decorations. Pumpkins, hay Bale, even a little foam turkey. Not good. I won't be getting any archery related Christmas gifts from her for sure.

After we shoot them, I put them out for the deer. They just love them.
I can't pass a field full of Pumpkins without thinking how much fun it would be to attack them with some big rubber blunt tips.
