I just drove to the bookstore this morning, bright and early to get the new TBM. I wanted to Read Fred Eichler's article. And then I spotted it.... yet ANOTHER slam dunk cover shot by Jerry Gowins! Mr. Gowins', your pictures always tell a tale, they set my mind adrift, dreaming of hunts to come and forests I have yet to travel. Congradulations.... once again! Great shot Sir!
made me drift away to far places myself....felt kind'a good.....
My thoughts exactly. :bigsmyl:
You guys said it all.
Jerry's good at that.......
Bittersweet. We lost Dave Wiuff at age 46 two years ago. WAY too soon.

Mr. Gowins helps us remember the best in us and the best we lost. God Bless you Weasel!
Yeh... Mr Weasel is an outstanding man behind a lens. Although I did love this cover of TBM (as always)...I liked the last issue better. Fred Bear...what a guy, Jack...what an artist!
ak.
Great picture by Jerry and of one the best...Dave Wiuff. Dave was the most caring and genuine people I've ever met....he is greatly missed. I will be carrying one of Dave's bows into the woods next week on a late blacktail hunt. He will be in my thoughts as often he is. I believe that picture was taken during one of these hunts in an area where Chet Stevenson and his hunting partners walked the woods.
Wow! Thank you all. I REALLY appreciate the comments! I've been away from the boards for awhile (quite awhile, apparently) so didn't see this thread. Hope to spend more time here in the future.
