I have pig-eyed his bows from up real close, he makes some beauties. I've spent a lot of time visiting with Edward on the phone and in person. Great guy with a TON of enthusiasm for woodworking/bow building. For the price of his bows, I would say you would not be going wrong.

I have one of Ed's bows. It is the rogue with 3 colors of bamboo in the core and zebra wood veneers. The footed riser is bubinga with a base of zebra with herrinbgbone stripes of wenge, bubinga and maple. The bow looks great and shoots great, not much sense in having one without the other. Ed is a straight up guy who does what he says he will do.  Also you'll enjoy the build experience.

Edward is a great guy to talk to, you would not be disapointed with his work either.  There are pictures of his elite model also here  http://tradgang.com/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=31;t=001116  his review is right on, my bow is smooth drawing, shoots a fast arrow and is consistently accurate

Ed just started building bows a couple years ago. I spent a bit of time with him when he was just getting started. He's got a carpentry background and knows how to handle his tools, that for certain.

I ran into him at western states rendezvous last spring in Petaluma Ca. and he was showing off a real purdy Myrtle wood bow. Excellent craftsmanship..... he'd be one to keep your eyes on.

Does Ed have a web site? if so i couldn't find it.  kirk

Kirk, no disrespect intended, but to say Edward has a carpentry background would be seriously understating his work. He does some really fine furniture building, cabinets etc. I'd agree with your assessment, "excellent craftsman". Just want to make sure credit is passed where it is due. I don't think he has a website yet, been badgering him about getting one going...
