Hi guys and gals,
I hope everyone is doing well!!!!!!!! I have not been here for a long while. I would like to let all of my old friends know that I have not forgoten you. I have not been here for a long while. I have been going through various medical test. The preliminary diagnosis was pulminary lymphoma(a type of cancer). I have gone through what could be considered a wide variety of tests. In short, I do not have cancer, but rather a condition called Sarcoidosis. In laymans terms The lymph nodes around my heart and lungs are enlarged which makes it very hard to breath at times and restricts the blood flow through my body. I get winded very easily and fatigued with the slightest form of physical activity. My prognosis is good though. My Doctor's feel I should recover fully between two and four years. Please, if you have any loved ones, give them a kiss and tell them how much you love them. You may not have as many years on this planet as you think!!!!!!
Everyone, please take care and enjoy each day, day by day and please dont live for tomarrow for tomarrow may never come.
I love everyone here,
Cooter
Welcome back and good luck with the recovery. Hap
Cooter..take care of yourself.... and don't stay away so long.

Best of luck to you Cooter. Chad Holm
Take it slow and don't be a stranger.
Cooter,
I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis in the early 90's, and it took just about as long as your doctors are telling you to run its course. I still have some breathing problems occasionally, but mostly because I'm older and fatter!!! Best wishes for your recovery, take it easy and try to do a little walking-even if it is slow. I know you can recover from it (my sister was diagnosed with it also).
Ron
Take it easy,and keep posting.
Serge
Hope it all goes well for you, and your recovery is complete.

Cooter !!!!! WOW, it has been a long time. I wondered what ever happened to you. It sure is good to see you post. Take care of yourself and don't be a stranger. ;) :wavey: :wavey:
Dang Cooter..you know that's caused by overheating osage on a gas grill and making wierd looking nocks? LOL. Sorry just a little levity to cheer you up (maybe)
Dianne and I ask George about you often. We're going up to hunt with him the last week of October. Maybe you can make it up for a little R&R sitting on the porch and watching the loons on the lake.
Take care, follow your doctors orders and get well soon my friend. ;)

I also have Sarcoidosis. I went through many of the same tests 3 years ago, including a surgery. I was on medication for about a year. It has damaged my left lung, and I do have some breathing problems - at times. Like Ron, I also have the old and fat working for me! Good luck

Oddbjørn, I think of you frequently and wonder how things are going for you. Have you worked those osage staves I sent you into bow's yet? If you have I'd like to see some pic's. Also, My brother and father are going to be taking a trip to Norway in the realatively near future. I don't know their exact plans but was wondering if arrangement could be made, would you be interested in acting as a temporary tour guide?
Thank you all,
Cooter
