After 4 years of trying I finally succeeded today on this 8 point, and I couldn't be happier. I have had some close calls, and 2 misses, but I was finally able to get one close enough and pick a spot. I got this bow from Matt Wirwicki in this years bow swap and it did an amazing job. I was almost equally impressed with the job that the 160 grain snuffers did. I got a pass through at about 18 yards breaking at least one rib on the way through. The buck ran about 40 yards and was dead within 10 sec. of the shot. Thanks for looking and good luck to everyone else this year.

Adam
great job.
God Bless,
Nathan
awesome deer but you know what is REALLY cool,,, everyone thinks and says to shoot a 2-blade with a selfbow and i think its awesome you use the big 160 snuffers and prove so many folks wrong..
you inspired me with this so I'm going to make up some snuffer arrows also for this weekends selfbow hunt.
Good deal!
Ha I killed 25 or 30 deer with hickory selfbows in the 50 lb range and most with 125 grain snuffers. Close shots in the arm pit nearly fell in sight. The nice quit bow and close shots are way more important that speed. I'm shooting a laminated longbow and recurves these days only because I am more acurate and have less oportunity to hunt.
