Title: arrow selection
Post by: JNewman on November 03, 2012, 04:54:00 PM
I know this is a common topic but could use a starting point in arrow selection for a new bow.  I have just acquired a ML-10 Pioneer longbow.  It is a hill style bow, and it draws 63 lbs at my draw length of 30".  Any suggestions for a spine range in either carbon or aluminum, and also a spine range for spruce shafts with a 170 tip.

Thank you

I think a full length 400 is good advice as they do well from a 60# reflex/deflex with 275gr up front. Much better than the few I prematurely cut to 29 1/2".
