I've been blessed this year with two bucks in the bow season, my quest started with building a bow for my Colorado ELK hunt but wasnt able to connect.
I shot the first buck OCT 21st and had trail pics of a ten point and one close encounter at the beginning of the season. Tonite I was able to connect with a double lung shot and he went 44 paces.
My 7 point

I was emailing a bit with Terry yesterday, and his last comment in the afternoon was
"gotta get in the woods, there a 10 point I'm after"
I said "Go Gettem"
A few hours later, I had a message that simply said :
"Gottem"
How AWESOME! And to do it with a bow you made yourself! Absolutely outstanding Terry!!

Michigan dear hunting, how I miss it. I've lived in Alaska the last 16 yrs. and as I get older I'd much rather haul a dear than a Moose. Those bucks look great. Congratulations!
Nice looking bucks and bow, well done on all!

Awesome!!!
Well done Bro!
Thanks guy's.
The bow I used is a 3pc R/D longbow. It is 64"long, 46#@28" and I pull 29.5 inches so I am shooting @50#. The riser is Dymondwood cocobolo and the limbs are bamboo cores under black glass. The arrows are GT3555 full length with razor sharp STOS heads @ 185gr tip weight.
Very nice!
Awesome job Terry! Twice!
Thanks,
Josh
