I have a Shrew Hill I have named Old Fox. We ahve hunted hard together and had a few close encounters with some large deer this year, but just could not put it all together. Well, tonight a little 4 point walked by a little too close and I used one of my buck tags on him.
I was sitting against a large red oak tree with nothing in front of me. I jsut sit very still. At 6pm, he walked around my area and eventually 17 yards to my left quarting sharply I let my arrow fly. My Shrew Hill is 49 pounds at 28 inches, and 68 inches long. He never heard the bow or the arrow. I love shooting Hill style bows!
I will get pics up when I can, photo bucket and I just do not get along.
Bob.

Good stuff! Congrats on the buck.
Good job.
Thanks for posting the pic Ron. The bow is so quiet the buck nver heard the bow or the arrow and looked surprised when the arrow hit him! The bow is elgeant and so slim, yet so deadly ... so impressive.
Thanks again Ron.
Bob.
