Blood trail from a VPA Terminator 175. Hog kill from yesterday. The ground is light colored sand. Blood trail only 30 yards long. Awesome broadheads! Passed thru all but the fletching on a quartering away shot 25 yards.

They are awesome. I had a pass through on a deer and she walked 50 feet, not yard, laid down and quietly expired

I love threads with pictures of blood trails.

That's good. I like it!
thats why i use them too !!!
My kinda blood trail!!!
I love those vpa heads!
That looks like impressionist art. You could probably sell that to some rt collector.
Seriously, that is a lot of blood on a blood trail. I;m planning on using these heads (in 250) on Turkey this fall and the VPA penetrator on pigs. That one has already proved itself.
impressive!
Do people in Leweyanna shoot hogs on their patio?
Just kidding. I used to be a fan of 3 blade heads when I just bowhunted deer.
Way to go Slade! :clapper:

I hunt by myself, so... my bow is the hero I guess. Killed one of these out of Big Jim's ground hunter seat and snuck up on the other one about 20 minutes later.

 Congratulations!
Congratulations!
What are the specs of your bow and arrows ?
Bow is a Bob Lee 62" I bought 3rd hand from a guy on here. It was made in 1998. 57# @ 29" I'm kinda hard on stuff - the day before I managed to cut my string and nick a limb with a machete... Fortunately I had a spare string with me. Camped out in a tent traveled by canoe miles from anywhere.
Arrows CX heritage 150's with 50 gr brass inserts and VPA 175 gr heads. around 31" long.
Nice! Gotta love those VPA's. My quiver is stuffed with them.

Thanks man, soon as I save up some $$ I'm looking hard at a Stalker bow to shoot 'em out of.
Nice! I love my VPA's! Where about in Louisiana are you from?

I live in Covington.
Boy that crimson and white sand sure look good together.Congrates!
I,m a VPA guy myself. Fairly easy to sharpen even for me and fly great. I use 160 glue ons. Congratulations on the pigs.
That soil you are hunting on looks very interesting. Is it some kind of clay? It's so white.
  I'll have to try some VPAs if I ever run out of old Zwickey's and Magnus heads...

It's sand - a sandbar on a riverbank.

VPA's do kinda rule
That looks like some fun hunting! I'm gonna be hunting pig a bit from canoe this season. Should be fun. Anybody use the VPA 3blades on turkey? That's my next season and have been planning on 250gn VPA 3blades...
I love my VPA 3 blades. Best head out there, no matter the price, in my opinion. Plus the guy who owns the company, designed the heads and is a fellow Tradganger (Boomerang)...well he's top notch as well.
