Title: Windy day doe
Post by: Bow man on October 30, 2012, 01:41:00 PM
Decided to get the stand despite the 30+ mile per hour gusts. The front coming in had the Deer and turkeys up feeding heavy saw 10 deer and close to 40 turkeys before this doe came by at 18 yards. The shot was a bit forward in the shoulder but the St Joe Longbow 62" 50@28, and  Muzzy Phantom tipped 540 grain arrow got enough pentration to get the lungs.  Took her 5:45 Monday evening

Way to prove the elements should not keep you at home, I say as the rain pours down and thunder rumbles.  Congrats!
