just wanted to publicly say THANK YOU to my brother Manny for the gift of a Mississippi Lake longbow, what a beauty of a bow!!! i really needed a higher poundage longbow and man does this fit the bill, around #62 pounds at my draw and hits EXACTLY where i am looking, just fits me PERFECT! beautiful bird eye maple limbs, cocobolo and osage riser, just beautiful! it will be splitting time with my Kanati the rest of the year in the woods. it absolutely SMOKES a 700 grain arrow set up, death to all stumps!!!! it has Red Moon written on the limbs and i can not get the picture of a pack of wolves howling at the moon just before a hunt. this bow is big medicine to me for sure! just an incredible bow from a great friend. THANK YOU again you crazy Canadian!!!!!

i saw 3 grouse carrying it yesterday which was really neat as i have not saw any around in a long while. also flushed a pheasant when leaving the field last night.
