Title: Snake Skins on a Bob Lee Takedown with Black Glass?
Post by: twostrings on October 25, 2012, 12:14:00 AM
Hey Everyone,

I've been thinking about putting snake skins on my Bob Lee Takedown Recurve for some time now, but really don't have any idea what it would end up looking like. Do any of you have skins on a takedown with grey riser and black glass? If so, would you consider posting a few pics?

Thanks!
mh

This is close, but riser is brown. Still you get the idea...

This is a gray rat snake. You have to really hunt around for specialty skins but you can get them.

Any type of rattlesnake looks great with gray, although this is not a gray riser you can see how the limbs look. Black glass.

Here is a gray Brackenbury with gray phase copperheads:

Couple of very nice bows. So nice in fact do you worry about taking them into the woods hunting?

I just put cottonmouth skins on my toelke lynx recurve. It had black glass limbs and it turned out awesome.
