Ron from KME had taken the time to call me and walk me thru the steps of sharpening a wicked edge on some grizzly broadheads and Big Jim sold me another fine set gold tip shafts to make arrows for this year's hunting season.
It all came together on the second day of the week long hunt in Nebraska.
I have to say it is always a pleasure to go on this annual trip with my best friend and hunting buddy, Joe Ashton. He is always fun and upbeat and the best hunter I know.

And from the same trip, Joe Ashton's handy work- another grizzly victim....

You guys would be proud of the shot he made on this deer.
I was in a tree about 100 yards away. I heard a deer coming through the woods. It stepped out in front of my tree, I grabbed my bow just in time to see it drop dead... Right in front of my tree.
Good job Sammy.
