Without getting into details, it's been a while after I've ordered and I haven't heard anything from Teresa. I tried e-mailing her but got no reply in a week. I have an upcoming hunting trip starting Nov 2 so I may need to get some more camo since I've outgrown my older clothes.
I know it's hunting season too so she may be a bit backed up but I'm just curious about how long it typically takes.
Morning Garrett, I ordered and paid for mine with paypal on Sept. 24th. I received notice on October 15th from paypal with the tracking information. It took until Monday the 22nd for anything to show up with the number, and when I checked the tracking number Monday, it shows my hoodie should be delivered today. Yea! I too have been waiting, but at least it has been too hot in Oklahoma to use it. That is supposed to change this weekend and I am anxious to see what comes in the mail today.
Mine took less than 7 days to arrive :bigsmyl: :campfire:
If I remember right about a week.
I guess she was just backed up for hunting season. Just got an email today saying it was being finished up and would be in the mail this afternoon. That's good news so I'll have it for my hunting trip.

A sponsor here. Get hold of Roger, he has Asbell wool.
Typically takes a while for anything i order from them to get to me. I know that going into it so no worries. I understand them to be good folks and trust my package will arrive as I ordered it. unfortunately, they do lose a bit of business from me as I prefer prompt shipping.

I'm usually fairly patient. I am just running close to my big hunt of the year and have outgrown my old hunting coats. I contacted Teresa again today and she said she'd finish my coat up and have it shipped out today so no worries.
Garrett, mine was in the mail when I went home to check at lunch. The wait for me was a month exactly, but it appears to be worth it. Nice looking wool hoodie. Can't wait to try it out. I am sure you will be pleased when you get it and I seem to remember reading somewhere on the order page to expect 3-4 weeks, mine came in 4 weeks and 2 days.
I'm thinking about ordering one for Christmas. I guess now would be a good time to order. Which one did you get goldfinger? I'd love to see a pic.
I orderes one in May for fathers day and got it around the 4th of July.

Evening Stand Brown Tim, sent you a PM
I have a Mac, I ordered and it took about two months but there were some changes mime. It was special order. I had Teresa put double wool on the backside for extra warmth . and it is the
X large size.and a double hood BUT
I lost 43 pounds so far ! I'm wanting to go down to 185 Lb.
and now I think it's too big. I think it is "Evening Stand Brown" The horizontal lines have some green in them.
I should put some extra things on and just see how it fits but it sure is baggy with just a flannel shirt on , when I ordered it I was 240 pounds ,and now I'm 197 pounds . I think I may have my wife put some drawstrings on the bottom.
but Teresa sure does do good work.

Very Nice Carl, Congrats on the weight loss. I started the year at 258 and I am now at 209. Lots of exercise and eating better, but the down side is new clothes. I will try my hoodie on this evening and see how "big" the extra large is. I have sleeping Indian wool I got on the classifieds here a few years back, and it is all big, but I wear it anyway. I don't mind the baggie clothes, and the weight loss is worth it. Congrats on your efforts!
I like that evening stand brown! And yes, congrats Carl on the weight loss.
Guys - Teresa is a "One -Woman-Show" I know for a FACT that she spends days at a time on the sewing machine, trying to stay current. She sews things in batches, which is why sometimes it's a week, sometimes a little longer. She has to do it this way, in order to keep scrap down...which keeps cost down. When she gets a special or custom order, well that makes things tougher. Frankly, I have suggested that she stop taking custom orders, but she is hesitant to do so. She likes being able to help a guy out who has a special need, etc.
Aside from being my good friend, Teresa and I have an awesome working relationship. If any of you would rather, contact me and I will take care of your garment. The reason I am able to streamline things for you, is that I can just focus on YOUR need, while Teresa is worrying about zip ups, pullovers, haversacks, GFA quivers, bulk wool shipments, GFA books...It's kinda like the old days when you could probably call Henry Ford and order up a car, but it just became easier to contact the dealership. It won't cost you a penny more through me.
you can contact me by email (roger@traditionalwoodsman.com), PM, or cell phone.
P.S....there is a new shadowy looking plaid coming out in about 10 days.....your gonna like it!!
I ordered one 2 weeks ago and another 5 days ago. They are both to be dekivered tomorrow. As they say on their website, they are not always home. If you catch them at the beginning of a trip...it can be a while. If they are home then it can be quick (like 5 days)
2 days! I ordered one of Teresa's zippered wool silent stalker green jacket from Roger at traditionalwoodsman.com Monday and it arrived this morning. Talk about fast! Thanks Roger.
I ordered one back in July and still have not seen it.
ALwoodsman....pm sent
Dang Ron! Thats quick. I just mailed it yesterday!!! The credit goes to the post office, not me :bigsmyl:

Good post. Makes sense. My shipping issues were related to books/etc. but I love their wool and will be ordering another. Interested in this new shadow pattern....can you give us a hint in colors?
Here you go:

What do you call that pattern? I like it.
That would be real nice for treestand hunting with a matching pair of bibs or pants.
At least you guys can wear wool. I am alergic to it. Each garment is basically custom and AMERICAN made and sure looks like it is worth the wait.
Mine was a few weeks but worth the wait I really like it!
I ordered 2 zip ups, a pullover, and a wind breaker vest liner 10 days ago. Teresa said she had all of it in stock and it would ship that day or the next, I still have not got it. She is a nice lady and makes pretty nice stuff for the money though, but she is slow to ship sometimes. Oh well things happen, I will get it when I get it.
Tom
Mine will be here tomorrow and I'm very excited to receive it. It's my first garment from her and I've heard nothing but good things. It's been about 4 weeks. I can handle that for a handmade product made in the U.S. Especially for a hunting garment ordered in September.
I wish she'd make wool pants, though. That'd be too cool.
Great products, and well worth the wait !!!
Bill
It took some time for me to reach her on the phone and I almost gave up. but I'm sure glad I didn't. I ordered a custom piece in June and it arrived in September. Here's what I learned:
1. Teresa is as charming a lady as you'll find.
2. She cares about her product and your satisfaction with it.
3. If she isn't happy with how things turn (draw cord material) she'll order new materials until she's satisfied...that caused the delay on my order.
4. Her products are top-notch and you are going to LOVE it when you get it!!
In short, give her some time and be patient. Don't wait until November to order for Christmas...order now.
Good luck.
Anxious to get mine! Been 3 weeks or so. Not alarmed just excited.
I am being trying to be patient as well, I like the stuff she makes. I just do not like being told it is in stock and it will ship out the next day, 10 days later, still nothing. It is what it is though. I am sure it will arrive sometime.
Tom
Ordered mine the night of September 23, it arrived today. It was well worth the wait as far as the eye can tell, very good fit and great quality.Got evening stand green mackinaw and silent stalker brown pullover without hood, hope to get to put it to practical test soon. So far I'm impressed!!!!
About 15 minutes for me. I was at the PreSpring Fling this past Feb, it got cold Friday night, there was a line early Saturday morning, she pretty much sold out everything except for really small and G. Fred size.
So Thursday I order from Roger & my zip up wool jacket arrives today! Thanks and you've won my business!
Still have not received mine been almost two weeks. I won't be ordering any more.
7 days It is awesome.
mine just shipped!!! christmas is this week!
TJK68 - 2 weeks is nothing for a hand sewn garment. If you aren't satisfied, please call Teresa rather than continue your grievance here.
Roger,
She told me it was in stock and would ship the next day, That is my gripe. If she had said it would take a month that would be fine, but you do not say yes I have it in my hand and it will ship tomorrow at the latest. I did call her Tuesday and she said "oh umm yes I shipped that already". I like her she is a sweet lady, but that is bad business. I did not relise on these threads we were only allowed to sing the praises of people and products, but that is my $300 bucks we are talking about, Take care my friend and have a pleasent Sunday.
Tom
I just got off the phone with Teresa, she gave me a call. She told me that she should have called me back sooner. One garmet that I ordered that she thought she had instock she did not have, so she had to make it, which delayed shipping for a bit. The order has been shipped and she said that I should have received it by now. She is going to track it and see where it is at.I told her exactly what was said in my prior posts, and as stated before Teresa was a pleasure to talk with. I think we have it worked out now. I do like her products as I stated prior to this post and she is a wonderful person to talk with. She agreed though that she should have informed me of the delay. She said she is extremly busy, so if you want it for Christmas you better get your order in now. Thanks to those that let Teresa know of this problem, so she and I could chat again and get it resolved. I told Teresa I appreciated her calling me back and she remembered me calling to check on the order a few days ago. So hopefully all is well.
Warmest Regards
Tom Keatley
Asbell wool ! I ordered , and waited for a period of time for it to arrive . Don't worry ! She won't forget you. And the pullover will get worn daily as mine has throughout the hunting season . You will love it . Maxx
Ordered Oct. 30th- the mailman brought me a present yesterday- nov 15- delta plaid and new timber ghost- great product at a great price- I couldn't be happier.
I ordered a Timber Ghost zip up Oct. 30 and received it 11/15. I'd say that's pretty good service for a handsewn garment.

I finally received mine last week. Part of the reason mine took so long is I had her make a custom pocket. I had talked to Teresa and the first one she made did not turn out right and she had to make another one. I have to say that it was worth the wait. It is just what I was wanting and is very well made. Plus you can't beat the price for an American made wool jacket.
I'm ordering a Cedar Swamp Green zip up soon, maybe beginning of December, can't wait, they look awesome! Hopefully it will arrive with plenty of time left to hunt...
